Happy New Year

I will you all a Happy New Year. As it looks Thailand is on it's best way to soften it's political problems and travel to Bangkok will be as safe as in the past. Just recently I was going though Suvarnabhumi Airport while returning from a trip from Kuala Lumpur. The airport has been under siege for over a week in November 2008 by anti-government protestors, but I am pleased to say there is absolutely no sign of any problems or destruction. The protestors left the international airport in a prestine condition. Everything works as if nothing happened. Of course, the volume of travelers has decreased by wide margins, but it's a great new start for a Happy New Year 2009.
